These songs were written and recorded over five years and finalized in the Colestin Valley, OR, where I lived mostly alone during the winter of 2014-2015. The house was designed and built by a Tibetan Buddhist nun. It was situated down some old railroad tracks from a Tibetan Buddhist temple and a 100-foot tall sitting statue of Avalokitesvara.

During the end of the recording process I would sit in my home studio and watch hawks hunt in the field by hovering slowly over the tall grasses, as herds of deer slowly migrated across the wide landscape.
